Strings move along the banks of the Xiangjiang River, and the rhythm of music surrounds Pengcheng. Co-organised by Longgang Overseas Friendship Association, Longgang Public Cultural Service and Industry Promotion Centre and Longgang Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation, and co-organised by Shenzhen Longgang Folk Literary and Artistic Artists Association and the Musicians in the Heart Light Project, the ‘Strings Passing on the Feeling - Hong Kong and Shenzhen Resonating Together’ Concert will be held at the Concert Hall of Longgang Culture Centre at 19:30 on 20 June 2025 in Longgang, Shenzhen. The concert will be held at 19:30 on 20 June 2025 at the Cultural Centre of Longgang District, Shenzhen.
The concert will bring together outstanding musicians from Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Taiwan to perform traditional Chinese music as a link, playing a beautiful movement of cultural fusion. Shenzhen youth sanxian player Liu Qiming, Hong Kong youth erhu player Yang Enhua jointly performed, together with Taiwan youth piano player Wu Wenying, Hong Kong youth singer-songwriter Ding Zhengkai, and many Shenzhen youth folk instrumentalists.
When the strength of the three strings, the melody of the erhu and the spirit of the piano intertwine and collide together, what we hear is not only the charm of the national music that has been passed down for thousands of years, but also the emotional resonance of the bloodline and the heart.
Let's look forward to the evening of June 20, in the music hall of Longgang Cultural Centre, to witness the perfect fusion of tradition and innovation, to feel the deep friendship of Chinese music across the region, to let the moving strings become a link between you and me, and to write a new chapter for the prosperity of Chinese culture!
